Edwin van der Sar has helped Ajax come back to the top of the mountain regarding European football. The Dutch team chief executive director made a wonderful job in the last few years of bringing Ajax to relevance, as they've seen a lot of success both domestically and internationally.

The former Netherlands goalkeeper has been linked to Manchester United as their next technical director reports Goal. However, the 48-year-old insisted that he's enjoying his stay at de Godenzonen and will try to stay as much time as possible to help the club. The Eredivisie giants had a fantastic 2018/19 season, finishing with a League double and a Champions League semi-finals berth.

"No, I'm focused on my job as chief executive at Ajax. We had a fantastic year in Europe last year, also won the league in Holland. We want Ajax at a higher European level and making sure we get back to the elite. That's what we're working on. I'm enjoying my time at Ajax. We touched the top level last year and we have to make sure we have the best opportunity to stay there," said Van der Sar reports Goal.

In a time where the Red Devils face one of their most identity crisis in their history, a figure like van der Sar, a United legend, could be a big help for the club to resume the glory days once achieved.
