RB Salzburg star Erling Braut Haland has attracted a lot of interest, with Manchester United and Manchester City in the race for the young striker. The Norwegian scored a sensational debut hat-trick in UEFA Champions League, which has seen Juventus take a keen interest in the striker.

Both the Manchester City and Manchester United have been heavily linked with a move for Erling Haland, with the Mirror report that they are not the only ones in the race for the Norwegian striker. Reports from Italy also indicate that Serie A giants Juventus and a few others are keeping tabs on the RB Salzburg striker, who has been a prolific striker all his life. The teenager, who only recently signed for RB Salzburg, once scored 9 goals in one game against Honduras at the Under 20 qualifiers earlier this year.

Not only that he has already scored three hat-tricks in the Austrian league, taking his total to 11 in just 7 games for RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga and he now has a Champions League debut hattrick to his name. His father Alf Inge Haaland played for Leeds and Manchester City, and while his career was cut short after a series of injury issues, the senior Haland has no issues with his son moving to Old Trafford.

"It would be nice. It is important to distinguish between being a supporter and a job. "So I have a very relaxed relationship with that. It's a little different when it's serious," he told TV2.

Manchester United are in serious need of attackers, as they lack depth to their front-line, having sold Romelu Lukaku and let Alexis Sanchez leave on loan. This has seen injuries to Anthony Martial affect the club harder than it should have, but Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford have done relatively well.
