After an impressive win over Real Sociedad, Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has admitted that he would love to see his team play like that every single game going forward. The La Liga giants have struggled for consistency this season which has put them six points off Atletico Madrid in first place.

With Real Sociedad challenging for the La Liga title, few expected Barcelona to do anything more than putting a meagre challenge against them. But the game turned out a lot differently than anyone imagined with La Real struggling to cope against an intense Barcelona press. It saw the La Liga giants net twice in the first half via goals from Frenkie de Jong and Jordi Alba despite the away side opening the score.

The win had not only fans cheering but their critics as well because it was the first time this season that Barcelona showed some life to their football. It impressed even Ronald Koeman and he admitted that he hopes the Catalan giants keeps playing like this. Koeman further added that while Barcelona should have scored a few more against Sociedad, the win was a deserved one.

"The first half was fantastic, we should have scored more goals. We were intense, we put them under a lot of pressure and we ran ourselves into the ground. Real Sociedad are excellent on the ball but we kept robbing it off them, we pressed them so well. It was an open game because our opponents know how to play very well but the game belonged to us and it was a deserved triumph,” Koeman said, reported ESPN.

"This is the team I want to see. Every player played out of their skin. The biggest difference was our play without the ball today, and Messi worked very hard in that respect, pressing a lot, and so did everyone else. That was the attitude we have to have when we don't have the ball."
