Cristiano Ronaldo recently passed out some comments on the image of Lionel Messi posing with the 2022 FIFA World Cup trophy. On the comments passed by Ronaldo, the Ligue 1’s social media also responded by taking the stance of Messi, when Ronaldo said that the Saudi Pro League has been better than Ligue 1.

Ronaldo said that all the French clubs except Paris Saint-Germain were finished and said that the Saudi Pro League has been a lot difficult due to the wind and weather conditions. In an interview, he said,"Saudi League is better than Ligue 1. France only has PSG. The rest is finished. Try to run at 38, 39, 40 degree weather and see... It is difficult to become champion in Saudi."

Further he said,"This year Al-Hilal are better, Al-Ittihad are top of the league, but I believe that we have push hard to be champions. I have been champion everywhere I have (played) and I believe I will be champion (in Saudi Arabia)."

Responding to the comments made by Cristiano Ronaldo, Ligue 1 made it to social media and posted an image of Lionel Messi with the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The match was played in Qatar, which also shares border with the Middle East, and the image was captioned,"Lionel Messi playing in 38 degrees."
