Erling Haaland has hinted at a possible move to Al Ittihad, amid Youssef En Nesyri’s 6-month injury. The club is advancing talks to sign Serhou Guirassy, who has a €35m release clause and is under contract with Borussia Dortmund until 2028, as a key attacking replacement.

In the latest transfer developments, Erling Haaland has opened the possibility of a surprise move from Borussia Dortmund to Al Ittihad, following the long-term injury of Youssef En-Nesyri, who is expected to be out for at least 6 months with a knee issue. His potential arrival could offer a world-class solution to the club’s attacking concerns and signal a major statement of intent from the Saudi side.

At the same time, Al Ittihad is progressing in negotiations to sign Serhou Guirassy from Dortmund. The 30-year-old striker, who joined from Stuttgart in 2024, has emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s top scorers and is reportedly open to the move. Reports suggest talks are moving smoothly, and the player has already given initial approval for the transfer.

Guirassy’s contract runs until 2028 but includes a €35m release clause, which becomes active from July and is limited to overseas clubs. The move is expected to directly replace En Nesyri, whom Al Ittihad plans to sell despite his contract also running until 2028. Overall, these developments could reshape both clubs’ attacking lineups ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
