After winning their fifth match of the season, Jaipur Pink Panthers skipper Deepak Niwas Hooda said that they won the game because they were able to execute their strategies well. He also added that they are now going to focus solely on their upcoming game against Gujarat Fortunegiants

Jaipur Pink Panthers are currently at the third position on the points table after their win against Puneri Paltan last night. They won the match 33-25 as everyone on their team contributed to the victory. Jaipur took an early lead by inflicting an all-out and Pune failed to close the gap which was created.

“We never adopt the mindset that a particular game would be easy for us. All teams are well-balanced and have good players. We came in with our own gameplan and we executed it to perfection. The raiders did their job and so did the defenders,” skipper Deepak Niwas Hooda said during the post-match press conference.

In the defence, Vishal was the best performer as he scored four tackle points and he was well supported by both the corners, Amit Hooda(3) and Sandeep Dhull(4) who scored seven points together. In the raiding department, Deepak Niwas Hooda led from the front as he scored nine raid points and also a tackle point. He was well supported by Nitin Rawal and Nilesh Salunke.

“We are a team. There are no individuals. If a particular player is having a bad night, someone else steps up to get the job done,” Deepak explained.

Jaipur have only lost one of their six matches till now and are at number three position on the points table. Also, they have scored 25 points in total, which is the same as the second position team but they have played one match less as well.

“No team is perfect. There’s definitely a lot of positives but there are some negatives as well. Our consistency has been phenomenal. The Covers, Corners, raiders, everyone did their job,” coach Srinivas Reddy said.

“To us, it’s always on to the next one. We don’t dwell too much on games that have finished. Tomorrow we play another big game against Gujarat Fortunegiants in front of their home crowd. Our sole focus is Gujarat Fortunegiants. All we care about is the next game,” Deepak Niwas Hooda said while talking about the team's form and signed off.
