Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin's recent performance helped him overcoming Sri Lanka’s stand-in skipper Rangana Herath to reclaim the second spot in the ICC rankings. On the other hand, another Indian player Ravindra Jadeja maintained the No.1 Test bowler spot in the latest ICC Test rankings.
