In a recent video that emerged on Twitter, England pacer James Anderson appears to bid farewell to the retiring Alastair Cook and wished him good luck for the future. But towards the end, Anderson goes on a 'rant' about his teammate while adding that the opener should’ve retired two years ago.

The British are renowned for their witty sense of humor, so it’s hard to say whether England’s most successful bowler secretly hates his retiring teammate Alastair Cook or whether it’s just another case of his off-field antics. In a recent video that emerged on Twitter via the PCA handle, James Anderson was caught on camera bidding farewell to the English opener who is playing the last game of his international career with the Three Lions. Anderson wishes Cook good luck for the future and signs off.

But in a curious case of events, Anderson places the camera down but appears to forget that it’s still recording. The number one Test bowler goes on a witty rant about his teammate and also labels Cook as a ‘farmer’. Anderson then goes on to rant about Cook before concluding that he should’ve retired two years ago itself. Have a look at the video and take a call for yourself whether it’s genuine or just another prank amongst teammates.
