Just like their Asian counterparts, Afghanistan's top order failed to deliver as the Aussie pace attack was too hot to handle. But unlike Pakistan and Sri Lanka, their middle order and tail ensured they reached a respectable total. Twitterati praised Afghanistan and trolled Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

This tweet cracked me up! xD

Who would've thought!

Australian fans right now...

An exciting team in the making?

Afghanistan have achieved something which Sri Lanka or Pakistan couldn't!

Unbelievable!

Learn from Afghanistan!

From being one of the top teams in the world to this! SL and PAK have slipped up a lot!

This is certainly something to be proud of for Afghanistan!

Brilliant character!

So many people got owned today after Afghanistan's bowling!

Less experienced but what a revival!
