The assurance that one gets while batting with MS Dhoni is second to none and the planning always goes perfectly. Today, Dhoni had clashed with Kedar Jadhav while running for a single as both of them had their eyes fixed on the ball which meant they converted a simple single to a brilliant couple.

Kedar Jadhav performs the best when he is in the company of MS Dhoni as history has proved again and again. Today, the duo complemented each other for a match-winning partnership, and two played calculative innings after a middle-over failure which had turned the match on India’s head. The most impressive part of the partnership was the way they stole those singles and one such incident on the first ball of the 46th over was just the highlight of what they had been able to do.

Adam Zampa bowled a short and quick ball on the leg-stump which Kedar Jadhav happily flicked it to mid-wicket where Marcus Stoinis was stationed. A single was the highest one could have taken on that delivery, but the duo had their eyes fixed on the ball with such eagerness that they almost clashed in the middle of the wicket.

After gaining the composure, they completed the single, but by then, Stoinis had already thrown the ball to Zampa, who, however, was not ready to collect the ball properly. As the ball had left him towards cover region, Jadhav and Dhoni almost accelerated their first-run speed by three times to add another run to the tally.
