Sourav Ganguly was all praise for the Super Over yorker by Kagiso Rabada to clean up Andre Russell and even predicted that nothing could better it at least for a month. The former Indian skipper has also added that Prithvi Shaw would go on to make many more centuries in all formats of the game.

Kagiso Rabada unleashed one of the finest overs IPL would ever see while defending only 11 runs in the Super Over with Andre Russell on strike. The destructive batsman that Russel is, it would be very difficult for any bowler to bowl a yorker to him, considering the fact that the Caribbean thrives on such deliveries. However, the South African unleashed a nail-perfect one to disturb the furniture, eventually leading Delhi Capitals to win. Ganguly was thrilled to see the performance and didn’t mince words while saying it would be the ball of the IPL in a month.

"It is more difficult because I can't bat and I can't bowl. But fantastic, that ( Rabada's yorker ) would probably be the ball of IPL in a month and a half's time. You know to bowl to (Andre) Russell, who has probably been in the form of his life. It's unbelievable," Ganguly said while talking to IPLt20.com.

With Delhi chasing a big target of 186 runs, Shaw got off to a flyer and played a sublime knock of 99 runs off just 55 deliveries which was embellished with 12 fours and three sixes. He became extra-cautious after reaching 96 and that showed in his batting before he was dismissed on 99. While Ganguly was sad that the youngster failed to reach the three-digit mark, he added that Shaw will go on to play many more good innings in the future for India.

"What Prithvi played tonight speaks volumes of his abilities. It's important to keep things simple when Prithvi was playing well you don't need to tell him anything because he struck the ball so well tonight. Just had to tell him that keep going and finish the game off. Good players do it, great players do it - when they get in they finish the game off. And I think he did that, Unfortunately, he got out on 99 felt sorry for him but I think he will get a lot of hundreds in IPL and all formats of the game for the quality he has," Ganguly said.
