There have been many instances of a six hitting spectators but rarely it hits cameraman and the game between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals saw one such incident. Tilak Varma played a straight hit towards long-off to Riyan Parag clearing the fence and the ball hit cameraman on his head.

After losing their first game of the IPL 2022 against Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians are chasing a mammoth target of 194 against Rajasthan Royals. Jos Buttler scored a century for RR in the first innings and he orchestrated the big total for the team.

Chasing a big target, MI lost two wickets early in the innings and the team was reduced to 40/2. Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma stitched a partnership for the third wicket which steadied the innings but Kishan was dismissed on 54 runs. Tilak is playing a brilliant knock and an unusual incident occurred during his innings. Riyan Parag was bowling 12th over of the innings and he bowled a full-length delivery on the penultimate ball of the over. Tilak lofted it straight towards long-off and cleared the fence. The ball hit cameraman’s head but Boult fielding deep checked on the cameraperson before bothering about the ball.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the incident.
