IPL 2022, DC vs RR | Twitter reacts as Khaleel Ahmed drops a simple caught and bowled opportunity

It happens very rarely that a bowler misses an absolutely simple catch on his own bowling but Khaleel Ahmed added to the list of such instances. Khaleel dropped a simple high catch of Sanju Samson on his own bowling who was looking dangerous and was smashing the ball all around the park.

Rajasthan Royals have won four matches in the IPL 2022 so far and have started in a superb manner against Delhi Capitals. RR were invited to bat first as DC won the toss. It was an absolutely Jos Buttler show after that as he scored a century. Devdutt Padikkal also supported him well scoring a half-century. Sanju Samson was looking dangerous after coming to bat at No. 3 as he was smashing the ball all around the park. However, Khaleel Ahmed provided him with a lifeline.

Khaleel was bowling the 18th over of the innings to Sanju Samson. He bowled a delivery short and wide outside off to Samson on the last ball. Samson mistimed the shot and it went straight up in the air. It was a sitter for Khaleel but he missed the caught and bowled opportunity putting the catch down.

Here is how Twitter reacted to the incident.

Sent off!

Dopped!

Hmm!

What a shame!

Turnaround!

Fixer?

LOL!

Maybe!

Correct!

Too much pressure
