Delhi Capitals spinner Kuldeep Yadav has said that the team is in a do-or-die situation ahead of their clash against Punjab Kings. DC will play against PBKS to keep alive their chances of making playoffs and Kuldeep said that they shouldn't repeat the mistakes committed in the competition so far.

IPL 2022 has entered its business end and the battle for the top four positions in the points table is getting quite intense. Delhi Capitals will play against Punjab Kings to keep their chances of making it to the playoffs alive. The team has blown hot and cold throughout the season winning six matches out of the 12 they played and losing the remaining six. Kuldeep Yadav has played an important role for the team this season taking wickets.

Kuldeep said that it will be a must-win situation for the team and they should avoid doing any mistakes committed earlier against Punjab Kings in the next game.

"This is a do-or-die situation for us. We have performed well in the tournament, but we have lost some close games. We have to make sure that we don't repeat the mistakes we have committed in the competition so far,” Kuldeep said ahead of the game.

"We have prepared well for our next match. We are considering the game as a knockout match for us. It will be important for us to get off to a good start, whether we bat or bowl first. It'll also be crucial for us to assess the conditions well."

Punjab Kings also have 12 points to their name but DC are ahead in terms of net run rate. Kuldeep stated that Punjab Kings are a good side and it will be not easy to beat them.

"Punjab Kings are a good side. There are a lot of good players in the team. They batted very well in their last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. There's no weak team in T20s. Anybody can put up a big score or take wickets on any given day," he stated.
