A player’s talent comes in when he trusts his instincts and doesn't wait for anyone’s approval. Such was the case in the contest between Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans where Gujarat’s Sai Sudharshan walked back to the pavilion before the third umpire’s verdict of LBW.

With Wriddhiman Saha sidelined due to injury, the Gujarat Titans opened their batting with Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Their combined left-hand and right-hand batting approach proved effective propelling their team to 44/0 by the conclusion of the powerplay. However, amidst their promising partnership, Rajasthan's Kuldeep Sen managed to dismiss Sudharsan in the ninth over.

On the third delivery of the ninth over, Sen delivered a full-length straight ball to the 22-year-old Tamil Nadu batsman. Sudharsan, attempting a scoop shot, shifted significantly from his stance across the line but missed the line completely as the ball thudded the pad in front of the middle stump. Despite on-field umpire Kumar Dharmasena initially ruling not out, Samson opted to review the decision. However, before third umpire K Ananthapadmanabhan could conclude his examination of the ball tracking, Sudharsan observed the replay on the screen and voluntarily walked back to the pavilion. Without awaiting the third umpire's verdict displayed on the screen, the Gujarat batsman promptly departed from the field.

The Twitterverse quickly reacted to the incident and took to social media to talk about it.

Kuldeep Sen.

Hahaha!
