A great catch is not just a display of skill but a testament to the courage and commitment of the fielder. One such instance took place in the game between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans where Noor Ahmad showed exceptional athleticism and took a stunning catch to dismiss Prithvi Shaw.

‌Despite losing the toss and being put in to bat first, Delhi Capitals got off to a flying start with openers Jake Fraser-McGurk and Prithvi Shaw notching up 34 runs in just the first two overs. Exploiting Gujarat's sloppy fielding, the Shaw-Fraser partnership went on the offensive. However, the momentum swung in favour of the visitors when Gujarat's Sandeep Warrier removed Fraser-McGurk in the fourth over, and to Delhi's dismay, Shaw fell in the same over sparking celebrations for the Gujarat side.

In the fourth over's fifth delivery, Warrier delivered a short-length ball to Prithvi Shaw who connected well but lacked perfect timing sending it towards deep square for a maximum. Positioned at a deep backward square, Gujarat's Noor Ahmad swiftly gauged the trajectory of the ball sprinting with remarkable speed. The Afghan spinner dashed forward diving low to secure the catch. Demonstrating confidence in his effort, Noor was applauded by his teammates as Shaw was given out. However, the on-field umpires decided to review the catch. Third umpire Akshay Totre confirmed that Noor's fingers were indeed under the ball, leading to Shaw's departure from the field.

Twitter exploded with admiration for Noor's exceptional effort, sparking discussions across social media platforms
