Nitish Rana unleashed his inner beast in the clash against Punjab Kings. While he received a positive start to his innings, he didn't like watching KL Rahul smash boundaries alone. So, he joined him by smashing 28 runs in a single over against Xavier Bartlett.
The Indian Premier League has now turned into a run fest, as Delhi's batting line-up is having no mercy on the bowling line-up of Punjab Kings. Punjab did have a good start to the game, as the team took the wicket of Pathum Nissanka early. But this could have been their biggest mistake, as Nitish Rana walked at number three.
His start seemed to be slow, as KL Rahul took the charge for the majority of the innings. But he was nowhere behind Rahul, when he decided that it was his time to smash boundaries. Unfortunately, this happened when Xavier Bartlett was handed the ball by the captain Shreyas Iyer.
He started the over with a six and also ended the over with a six. The four balls in between were all dealt with fours, making it one of the most expensive overs in the current season. Xavier Bartlett was smashed 28 runs off the same, as Rana easily completed his half-century.
