Can Punjab Kings cling with the Thin Rope to Playoffs Race?

Now they have to win over the Lucknow Super Giants to survive, or lose and be eliminated.
With 13 points and a net run rate of +0.227, PBKS is ranked sixth. They will advance to 15 if they win, but qualification will still depend on other outcomes. It seems like Punjab Kings will be able put their best foot forward today but that may not be enough to make the playoff cut considering the present points table scenarios. But a lot is dependent on the exciting fixtures in IPL 2026 over the weekend.
