Gareth Bale could be on his way to Allianz Arena this summer if Bayern Munich don't get a deal for Leroy Sane done. The German’s injury during the Community Shield could put a halt to any move to the Bundesliga this summer, and the Welshman is looked upon as their top alternative, this summer.

Bad luck has knocked on Leroy Sane's door just as he was nearing an agreement with current Bayern Munich. The German apparently suffered a serious injury within twenty minutes of Community Shield game between Manchester City and Liverpool, which could be a dealbreaker for Bayern.

Der FCB are desperate for wingers as they have seen multiple departures from their squad, namely Franck Ribéry and Arjen Robben this summer. To replace the two veterans, the Bavarians have targeted Leroy Sane, according to the Daily Mail. But Gareth Bale has surged forward as a strong option to reinforce the club with a world-class stable, with different type of deals on the table.

However, even then, it's only if and only if a deal doesn't go through for Leroy Sane, then Bayern will launch a last resort bid for the Welshman. It is rumoured that Bayern's offer could be either a straight-up transfer move or a season-long loan, with both teams sharing the load-related to his wage structure.

The 30-year-old still has three years left on his Madrid contract and he's keen to stay at Santiago Bernabeu even with no certainty of minutes after a spat with manager Zinedine Zidane.
