Paris Saint-Germain rejected an offer from Real Madrid for Neymar, as the race alongside Barcelona and Juventus for the Brazilian star heated up. The Merengues have offered €100 million plus Gareth Bale, Keylor Navas and James Rodríguez but the Ligue 1 champions rejected the proposal.

L'Equipe claims that Real Madrid made a bid for Brazilian star Neymar, as the Merengues alongside Spanish rivals Barcelona and Serie A champions Juventus continue to push hard in order to secure a deal with Paris Saint-Germain. The French source reports that Real Madrid have offered €100 million plus three players: Gareth Bale (€60 million), James Rodríguez (€50 million) and Keylor Navas (€10 million).

Following the market values of the three players referred in Transfermarkt, this bid goes up to €220 million, almost reaching the €222 million that Paris Saint-Germain paid for Neymar 2 seasons ago. The French side rejected the offer, as Barcelona and Juventus remain in the hunt for the Brazilian striker.

The three clubs are looking for a cash plus player deal but the offers have yet to reach the demands of Paris Saint-Germain, with them not keen on the players being offered. Juventus have only 24h to reach an agreement as the transfer window for Serie clubs close August 23, while the Spanish rivals have until September 2 to get Neymar.
