Tottenham are now willing to let Danish star Christian Eriksen leave the club this summer, if they get a fee of around £50 million. The 27-year-old’s future has been up in the air throughout the summer window with Eriksen even refusing to sign a new and lucrative contract with the North London side.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino and club chairman Daniel Levy have finally come to an agreement over Christian Eriksen, with the club now open to selling the Danish star. The 27-year-old’s future has been up in the air all summer, with Eriksen keen on leaving England to try a new challenge elsewhere, amid interest from the La Liga and the Serie A.

That has seen Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and even Real Madrid take a keen interest in a cut-price deal for the Danish playmaker, whose current contract with Spurs does expire at the end of the 2019/20 season. It simply means that this is the last chance for the North London side to make a profit on the former Ajax star, which is what the Daily Mail reports the club are willing to do.

The Mail reports that both Pochettino and Levy are willing to let the midfielder go if they get a fee of around £50 million for the 27-year-old. This confirms what Pochettino said after Tottenham’s clash against Manchester City, revealing that the saga was getting to Eriksen.

"It's not in a good place. It's not the best situation for him, for everyone. It is not what I think the club or the player expects to be. A difficult situation for both sides. I understand the club, I understand the player. You try to minimalism the problem, try to treat the situation. This is an important player who needs to help the team with his performances to get positive results," said the Spurs boss to the Daily Mail.
