Paris Saint-Germain are planning a stunning move for Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha as they believe he is a potential replacement for Neymar. The former Manchester United star has been itching for a move away this summer, but his deadline day transfer request was rejected by the Eagles.

With eight days left before the European transfer window shuts up shop, the world still awaits to see just what might happen with Neymar’s transfer saga. So far, there has been nothing concrete although reports do indicate that both Barcelona and Real Madrid are still very keen on a move for the Brazilian superstar.

If a move does take place, it does leave PSG without an established superstar on their books and it has seen them linked with moves for a catalogue of players. From Paulo Dybala to Gareth Bale, the Ligue 1 champions have been linked with everyone but no move has ever materialized. But the Mirror has reported that that could change in the near future, especially with PSG sending a delegation to London.

Their target is Wilfried Zaha, with the Mirror further adding that the Parisians are willing to shell out as much as a £100 million for the Ivory Coast star. The move will only happen if Neymar’s £200 million valuation is met by either Barcelona or Real Madrid, but PSG do believe that Zaha’s ability and style is something that would do well in the Ligue 1.

The 26-year-old has already made his intentions of leaving Selhurst Park very clear as he believes that he’s done as much as he can at Palace. Furthermore, the Mirror adds that the lure of the Champions League and playing alongside a catalogue of world-class stars would be enough to convince Zaha to join them.
