Sporting CP are looking to add another striker to their squad following Bas Dost’s departure to Eintracht Frankfurt. The Portuguese giants are looking to make a move for AC Milan’s Andre Silva on loan, but the Rossoneri are only willing to consider permanent offers for the Portuguese forward.

According to Calciomercato, Sporting CP are keen to take Andre Silva from AC Milan on loan before the window shuts. The Portuguese side are looking for a forward to replace Dutch international Bas Dost, who is on his way to sign for Eintracht Frankfurt.

The club wants to add Andre Silva on loan, but the Rossoneri are only willing to consider permanent offers for the 23-year-old, who spent last season out on loan at Sevilla.  Having arrived at San Siro in 2017 from FC Porto for almost €40 million, Andre Silva has failed to justify his talent in an AC Milan shirt. With 10 goals in 40 matches, Andre Silva stayed at San Siro for just one season before he was sent off to Sevilla on loan last season.

Even there despite, a brilliant start where he scored 7 goals in his first 7 games, Silva failed to have the season he needed to justify his presence in AC Milan's squad this year.  The Portuguese was left out of AC Milan's first game of the season against Udinese, which only helped the rumors that he was itching for a move away.
