We’re very happy that Paulo Dybala is with us, reveals Fabio Paratici

While Juventus are still desperately trying to sell Paulo Dybala this summer, no move has materialized for the Argentine so far. The 25-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Turin this summer with both Manchester United and Tottenham coming close to signing him. But while the move to United was eventually rejected by the Red Devils due to salary demands, the move to Tottenham fell apart after over issues with his image rights.

The latter situation has caused a few problems for the forward's suitors this summer, yet reports have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain are still in the running and the Parisians giants have no issues with Dybala’s image rights. But with the European window closing very soon, it seems that Juventus may have changed their stance on Dybala’s future if CEO Fabio Paratici’s pre-match interview is anything to go by.

Before Juventus officially kicked off their Serie A season against Parma - a game that ended without Dybala on the field - Paratici went on to talk about the Argentine and also downplayed any move for Mauro Icardi.

“Dybala on the bench has nothing to do with the bench. He is a great Number 10 for Juve, we’re happy he is with us. We are happy with the forwards at our disposal, which is envied by everyone on an international level. Everyone can interpret that answer the way they want, but we are very happy with the strikers in our squad. If you put together all their goals in recent years, it’s an extraordinary number,” said Paratici reports the Daily Mail.

"That says it all. At this moment, as I’ve already said, we are very happy with the group of strikers at our disposal. It is difficult to improve our squad, we believe we did that over the summer, strengthening those positions we thought needed something. We weren’t lacking quality, but needed to fill some gaps in terms of numbers, for example a defender and a midfielder,” concluded the 47-year-old.
