Romelu Lukaku has appealed to UEFA yet again and asked them to take action against racist chants in stadiums around the world. While the Belgian star has lit up Italy and Inter Milan since his move from Manchester United, his time there has been marred with racist chants from opposition supporters.

On the field, the former Everton and Chelsea striker has been magnificent for Inter Milan and has justified Antonio Conte’s trust in him. Not just that, alongside Lautaro Martinez, Lukaku has found the strike partner he never knew he wanted and together the two have wreaked havoc on Europe and Italy. However, the Belgian international has been subjected to racist chants from opposition fans which have caused a few problems.

It happened first against Cagliari, who went unpunished, and now again against Slavia Prague, a game that Inter Milan ended up winning, as Lukaku went on to admit that the whole stadium had used racist chants. The Belgian further added that it wasn’t just against him but against his whole team with the chants occurring on two separate occasions.

"I said it last time when I was with the national team. UEFA now has to do something about it, because things like this in stadiums is not right. It happened twice with me and that is not right with people. We are in 2019, there are many players with many different nationalities in their teams," the Belgium international said in an interview with Esporte Interativo.

“When there are people that for me are bad, at the stadium, that's not a good example for the kids. I hope that UEFA now do something about it, because the whole stadium did it when Lautaro (Martinez) scored the first goal, and that's not good for the people watching this game."
