My transition to Real Madrid has not been easy, says Luka Jovic
Luka Jovic was one of the major signings this summer for the Spanish powerhouses for the amount of €60 million. But his time with Real Madrid has not been easy so far, as he hasn't been able to impose himself yet in Zinedine Zidane’s squad, with loan moves already being discussed by the press.
After completing a sensational season at Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 27 goals in 48 appearances, and leading the team to a semi-final in Europa League, Luka Jovic took a step forward in his career and moved to Spain. However, things haven't been going the way the striker wanted, with little playing time in the first games due to an injury sustained in pre-season.
When asked about his time with Real Madrid so far, Jovic had an interesting take, according to Goal, "After the pre-season, of course, it's getting better now. I was injured, it was that red card when I had to come off against Arsenal [in the first half of the International Champions Cup clash]. It's not easy for one young player, but I think I handled it in the best way possible and I'm ready to answer the biggest demand."
The 21-year-old can continue to gain rhythm, now representing Serbia on the international break. He will have his hands full against a Portuguese squad that includes Cristiano Ronaldo and even Joao Felix as he tries to take Serbia to the 2020 Euro.
