According to Sky Sports, Juventus and their representatives are set to meet with Paul Pogba’s representatives ahead of a move back to Turin for the Frenchman. The 29-year-old is reportedly set to leave Manchester United once his current contract expires at the end of the 2021/22 season.

A lot was expected when Paul Pogba arrived at Manchester United for a, then, world record fee but the Frenchman has struggled to live up to the expectations placed on him. While there has been sparks and cameos of the world-class player that the 29-year-old could be, it has been mostly a struggle to fit Pogba into the team. That hasn’t been helped by the fact that the club has changed managers more than once during that spell with reports indicating that both parties have been unhappy.

However, things are set to change as rumours have revealed that Pogba is not set to extend his contract at Manchester United and leave as a free agent at the end of the 2021/22 season. That has sparked interest in the 29-year-old from Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. But while a move to City has been ruled out, Sky Sports has revealed that Juventus are set to meet with Pogba’s representatives in order to start talks.

The Frenchman is currently being looked after by Rafaela Pimenta after his agent Mino Raiola passed away last month. But that hasn’t changed the situation as the 29-year-old does want to leave and is said to be attracted by a move to Italy although reports have also indicated that PSG in the race as well The Parisians believe they can offer Pogba a much better financial package but Sky Sports has reported that the Old Lady are confident they can get a move done as they believe Pogba will make a decision based on footballing merits.
