This match also saw Robert Lewandowski score two penalties, in the 13th and 78th minute respectively, which helped him to reach 19 goals in his Champions League career.

Now, he is also among the top scorers of the tournament, being able to match the level of Cristiano Ronaldo. It should also be noted that Barcelona has not been able to score two penalties in a single game since the 1998 edition of the UEFA Champions League.

Vangelis Pavlidis started off things for Benfica, scoring a goal in the 2nd minute of the game.
