FC Barcelona and Benfica went against each other in a thrilling encounter at the UEFA Champions League, where Barcelona won by 5-4. This match also saw Robert Lewandowski score two penalties, in the 13th and 78th minute respectively, which helped him to reach 19 goals in his Champions League career.

Now, he is also among the top scorers of the tournament, being able to match the level of Cristiano Ronaldo. It should also be noted that Barcelona has not been able to score two penalties in a single game since the 1998 edition of the UEFA Champions League.

Vangelis Pavlidis started off things for Benfica, scoring a goal in the 2nd minute of the game. Robert Lewandowski was further able to level the scores with a penalty goal in the 13th minute, which was followed by another goal from Pavlidis in the 22nd and 30th minute respectively, and all of them came in the penalty shootout.

Raphinha also contributed to the win for the team, scoring two goals in the 64th and 90+6th minute respectively. Along with that, Eric Garcia scored a goal in the 86th minute of the game, which helped Barcelona to win this anticipated match.
