Pro-Kabbadi season four is starting and here are five reasons why you should follow it-

1. Desi sport

We Indians love ‘desi’ and kabbadi provides us with that. Everything about kabbadi is desi; there would not be a single Indian who has not heard of the sport. Every kid must have played the game while growing up. Watching kabbadi take on the big stage brings back memories for most of us. There is no better feeling than sitting down after a long hard day and watching a sport that arouses nostalgia.

2. Energy

The energy of the players on the court is infectious. Be it a low scoring match or a fast paced flood of points the energy levels are never low. Be it the raiders with their quick raids or the defenders with their strong hold, the energy is sustained throughout the game. Watching a high-octane game like kabbadi gives the viewers an adrenaline rush because of the high intensity on the court.

3. Short games

A blink of an eye and you could miss a game-changing moment, that is how quick the game is. There is no faster way to get your mind off the day-to-day pressures than a quick 40-minute game of kabbadi. And as attention-spans get shorter and poeple get busier, there is probably no other sport with so much action in such a short time.

4. Unpredictability

The game could be completely one-sided and in a matter of minutes it could go back to being 50-50. Pro-Kabbadi has seen matches where the results have turned upside down within the matter of seconds. There have been matches where a team scored three points in the very last raid to get the match tied and there have also been matches where a team behind by 15 points managed to win the match at the end. The suspense is guaranteed to keep the viewers glued to their screens till the very end.

5. New winner each season until now

Pro-Kabbadi has seen three different champions in as many seasons. The 4th season gets even more exciting as the team compositions have changed drastically due to the full player auction this season. Each team got to retain two players, which means the squads have changed quite a lot. It would be very interesting to see how the teams go about with the new players. Let us wait and watch if Pro-Kabbadi season 4 will see a new team emerging as winners or not.
