Telugu Titans coach K Jag Mohan has stated that had their team done better in the two raids at the last minutes of the game, the result would have been different. Both Bengal Warriors and Telugu Titans sit pretty at the top of the table in their group even as these are early trends in the season.

A tight match between Bengal Warriors and Telugu Titans ended as a loss for the latter as the Titans gave away crucial points at the dying moments of the match to lose 30-25. At the post-match conference, both the teams were represented by their captain and coach whereas raider of the day Maninder Singh also joined his coach and captain for the conference. Coach K Jag Mohan and captain of the team Vishal Bhardwaj represented the Telugu Titans at the conference and it was the coach who did the talking.

“The last two raids were deciding raids and we weren’t able to do well in either so we lost,” said K Jag Mohan.

“We know Bengal Warriors have a strong defence and, with our defensive strength, we knew that it was going to be a tight, low-scoring game. We planned for a defensive game and did well in the first half but made a couple errors in the second half which sent our plans awry."

Bengal Warriors were represented in the post-match press conference by coach Jagdish Kumble, captain Surjeet Singh and the day’s leading raider Maninder Singh.

“Initially coach told us to play as per our strategy and we kept Rahul Chaudhari in check as per the strategy. Towards the end of the game, he asked us to play freely and enjoy ourselves” Surjeet Singh said.

Bengal Warriors had a good raider in Jang Kun Lee from Korea but they did even think of using him as Maninder Singh was having a field day on the mat.

“Maninder Singh is our lead raider. He performed very well today, so we didn’t need to use our backup raiders much. Jang Kun Lee has a good record against Telugu Titans but because of Maninder’s performance, we didn’t need to use him” Jagdish Kumble said.
