Dabang Delhi KC raider Naveen Kumar has expressed his desire of continuing to perform for his team after their win against UP Yoddha on Sunday. The young raider also stated that he has the full trust of coach Krishan Kumar Hooda and great support from the teammates in the Delhi camp.

Dabang Delhi are on a roll in the seventh season of the PKL and one of the major reasons for their success this year is Naveen Kumar’s performance. The 19-year-old raider has already scored 104 raid points which also includes eight Super 10s so far this year.  Naveen talked about the support from other players and the Delhi coach Krishan Kumar Hooda after playing a pivotal role in their previous match against UP Yoddha.

“When I have the coach's trust and teammates as good as the ones at Dabang Delhi K.C., how can one be under pressure? The support I receive is unbelievable and I hope I can continue helping the team,” Naveen was quoted as saying by the PKL website.

The youngster is now called “Naveen Express” for his excellent quick raiding skills and is one of the star performers not only for his team but in the whole league. When the reporters asked about his new name, a humble Naveen said that he is just getting started and has not achieved a lot in his career yet.

“It’s humbling and I'm grateful. But I haven’t achieved anything yet. I'm only getting started. There are plenty of matches left and we need to continue playing good kabaddi,” the 19-year-old concluded.
