Tamil Thalaivas’ has said that he is not concerned about Rahul Chaudhari’s form who was only able to score one point in the whole match against Bengal Warriors on Thursday. This was Tamil Thalaivas' fourth loss in the last five matches and they are currently ninth on the points table.

Tamil Thalaivas lost to Bengal Warriors by a nine-point margin in their encounter last night. The game was a close one till the first half but after that, as the pressure mounted Tamil Thalaivas choked and lost the match. After the first all-out they were able to make a quick recovery and finished the first half lagging behind by only one point. In the second half, then defence kept making mistakes and even Rahul Chaudhari’s form hasn't improved so he was substituted, Anand then came in and executed a Super Raid which took the difference down to three points but the Thalaivas weren’t able to take advantage of that. Chaudhari has scored only 13 points in the last three matches.

“No, I’m not concerned about his form. Sometimes it clicks for him and other times it doesn’t. But he keeps trying his best to perform. I am confident that he’ll come back and perform well in the next few matches we have,” coach Edacherry Bhaskaran said during the post-match press conference.

Bengal inflicted the first all-out onto the Thalaivas 10 minutes into the game and the second one when there were five minutes left for the game to be over. Their defense played better as they scored 10 tackle points as compared to opponents' six points. Also, they made sure not to lose composure like they did in the match against Haryana Steelers (which they lost by three points) and ended up winning the match.

"Our defence’s plan was successful tonight. Whenever the opposition raiders came to raid, we managed to catch them. So, we went into the game with this plan (to keep their raiders quiet) after consultation with the coach and played according to the plan. The last game, we lost in the final four or five minutes. But in this game, we stuck to our plan and won the match,” Bengal Warriors captain Maninder Singh signed off.
