After Dabang Delhi made it to the playoffs for the first time last season under the captaincy of Joginder Narwal, the team has given the leadership responsibilities to the defender again for the seventh season as well. Dabang Delhi had finished third in Zone A after the end of the league stage by winning 11 of their 22 games. They had also managed to beat Bengal Warriors in the first eliminator but losing against UP Yoddha in the second knocked them out of the league.

With the mixture of youth and experience in the side, Dabang Delhi will start their campaign in the seventh season on July 24 when they will take on hosts Telugu Titans. The Delhi-based franchise has the perfect mix of youth and experience as their core team includes Joginder Narwal, Chandran Ranjit, Ravinder Pahal, Meraj Sheykh and Naveen Kumar.

As an experienced left corner defender, Joginder had scored a total of 51 tackle points in 22 matches last season for the Krishan Kumar Hooda-led side.
