Sunrisers Hyderabad won the ninth edition of the IPL as they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in a high-scoring match. David Warner led from the front, and even a Gayle storm could not stop the Orange Army from lifting the trophy. Twitter responded with great tweets and here are the best of them.

When David Warner elected to bat first...

Well… the decision was surprising but proved to be the right one eventually.

Small, smaller, smallest!

Vijay Mallya disliked this tweet.

Well, atleast close enough.

When David Warner thrashed the RCB bowlers initially.

Seems a legit way to get him out.

When you can’t get them out, try to knock them out, right?

Classic Ramiz Bhai!

Ben Cutting just went full mental at the end.

And it was brutal. Both the times!

That legendary performance deserved it!

GAYLE STORM HAD ARRIVED!

Not sure how that would help, but worth a try maybe?

That analogy!

A night of great analogies, right?

And they just kept on coming…

Let’s get a petition started.

It went south very quickly for RCB.

Hard to debate that after looking at the run-out

All batters would probably unanimously agree that the worst way to lose your wicket is getting run out. However, things went a step beyond for Faheem Ashraf in Sylhet on Thursday as not only did the all-rounder get run-out when he looked in great hitting touch but was also ragged in the process.
