Twitter reacts as Virat Kohli and Murali Vijay thrash Sri Lanka yet again
The Twitterati went mental as Virat Kohli and Murali Vijay took turns while thrashing the Sri Lankan bowlers who were clueless throughout the day. After the early departures of Shikhar Dhawan and Cheteshwar Pujara, Kohli and Vijay steadied the ship and guided India to a solid total of 371 on Day 1.
Brief Scores : India 371/4 (Virat Kohli 156*, Murali Vijay 155; Lakshan Sandakan 2/110)
Here are the funny tweets from the day's action:
It did not start off well for India!
Both Pujara and Dhawan were looking good but departed cheaply..

Every Indian fan after watching both of them depart!
Ishant Sharma would score a century on this wicket...Dhawan and Pujara might castrate themselves as punishment for failing to do so.. #indvsl

Why you do this Laxman!
Laxman says Kohli will get a triple hundred tomorrow. He'd said Pujara would get a double in the last match. Jinxed it! 🙄 #IndvsSL

But it was just the beginning!
Back to Back tons for Murali Vijay. Has pretty much nailed his spot for the SA series, has he should have, never a doubt about his class. Now to make this a huge score. Bat on. #INDvSL

Cringe factory!!!
33 year old Murali Vijay and 29 year old Virat Kohli scoring hundreds and double hundreds - Very Cool.

33 year old Murali Vijay and 29 year old Virat Kohli doing the dab - Cringy!
Clearly, the football fever has hit the cricketers!
Oh no! Murali Vijay celebrated his ton with that shitty wacko Griezmann celebration and then made it worse with a dab, even forcing Kohli to do it. So they are supporting France at #Russia2018 now? 😢 #IndvSL

This guy can't stop breaking records!
VIRAT KOHLI's consecutive centuries as Test captain:
— Sampath Bandarupalli (@SampathStats) December 2, 2017
3 vs Australia, 2014/15 (115, 141, 147)
3* vs Sri Lanka, 2017/18 (104*, 213, 100*)
He is the FIRST CAPTAIN in TEST history to score 100s in three consecutive innings on two different occasions. #INDvSL
Should've done before the carnage began! Now you can't escape it, Sri Lanka! :P
Sri Lanka could have requested BCCI to rest Kohli for 3rd Test also...
— Broken Pundit (@Brokenpundit) December 2, 2017
Would've been a better game than this borefest!
Ideal preparation for SA would have been to pick top 30 long format probables, form two teams and play a Challenger kind of series on pitches similar to SA. This SL team can't give quality competition to our current team any day.#INDvSL
