India vs South Africa | Fourth ODI Preview, Match Predictions, Weather, Line-ups, Live Streaming, Press Conferences
The Pink ODI holds a special significance in SA cricket and if the team need any inspiration at this time of despair, then AB de Villiers’ return is bound to boost their morale. However, India will want to complete the final rites and register their first series win in the rainbow nation.
Preview
After three shambolic defeats and a slew of injuries to their three big players, South Africa seem depleted and will have to pick themselves up for the remaining three matches to at least share the spoils of the series. However, fortunately for them, it has been confirmed that AB de Villiers has recovered from a finger injury and will take part for today’s ODI at the Wanderers, which is termed as Pink ODI and for which, ABD is an ambassador. While AB hasn’t played the first three matches, in the two games since Faf du Plessis was ruled out by his own finger problem, the hosts have also lacked an anchor in the middle order to counter the wrist-spinning duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav.
However, for India, Kohli has scored four centuries in his last six ODIs, and one of the innings that didn't convert to a century was the unbeaten 46 in Centurion. Whilst the wrist-spinners have made the life miserable, India will hope to produce another knock-out performance in Johannesburg.
Who Said What
India: "There are at times when bowlers have to be defensive when batsmen are on top. But I think these bowlers [wrist spinners] have really understood their roles and the conditions well. I can only say they've performed exceptionally well." - Bharat Arun, India’s bowling coach

South Africa: "Obviously it's a do or die for us now. If we lose one more, that's the series gone. So we'll be fighting for every single ball, every single run out there. Yes, there's a lot of pressure but what's cricket without pressure? It's boring." - Chris Morris
