Eoin Morgan has revealed that the team management is faced with a tough decision over the inclusion of fit-again all rounder Ben Stokes ahead of the final T20 against India. Meanwhile, Alex Hales has admitted that his position in the team is not a given and he could be left out of the next game.

England have been on an incredible run in international cricket, especially in the limited-overs format. Eoin Morgan & Co. are currently battling it out, in the T20I format, against a very good Indian team led by their leader Virat Kohli and are determined to establish their dominance during the UK tour.

After two T20I’s, both teams are level at 1-1 in the three-match series with the final and deciding match to be played today. But English skipper - Eoin Morgan - is faced with a dilemma and that is the inclusion of high-flying all rounder Ben Stokes, who has recovered from a hamstring injury he suffered last month.

“It’s a difficult decision to make but we will do whatever is right for the betterment of the team,” Morgan said at a pre-match conference, reported The Guardian.

Alex Hales, who was the hero for the home team in the second game against the Indians, scoring an unbeaten 58 which won England the game, was widely tipped to make way for Stokes. However, the SRH batsman acknowledged that it was a possibility that he might be dropped from the team despite his performance but added that it was the team that mattered more than his own game time.

“We will have to see. If it’s me that’s left out, you look at the guys who are playing ahead of me and what can you do? It’s up to me to keep training hard, being positive and to have a decent mindset.

“It’s funny how quickly things can change. This is what Jonny did for three years. Every time that he got a chance he delivered and he has now made four hundreds in six games,” Hales said.
