In cricket, one day can make a massive difference, and in case you doubt the fact, all you need to do is ask Jofra Archer about it. On Thursday, he'd picked up his maiden fifer and was unstoppable, and today, as he walked off the field 'injured', he was sarcastically mocked by his fellow mates.

When you have an asset like Jofra Archer at your disposal, it is important to take ardent care and tread with caution, as he's someone who's invaluable to the team and the last person you'd like to see walk off the field injured. At Lord's, Joe Root & co were guilty of over-bowling the youngster, but thanks to his immeasurable impact on the game, all of that had been ignored.

In the first innings of this Headingley Test, Archer claimed his maiden five-wicket haul in the first innings but yet again was over bowled and stretched to the limit. Fears of a potential burnout grew as the game progressed, but unfortunately, all cries were ignored by Root, who had the keys to the luxury car called Archer.

But then again, no luxury car is strong enough to keep running at full speed, and eventually, on his 9th over of the second innings, the Barbadian broke down as he took the mark to bowl to Marnus Labuschagne. As soon as he hit the ground, thousands of English supporters had their hearts in their mouth as they feared the worst.

However, much to everyone's relief, the speedster soon got up and started to walk off the field and hilariously enough, almost seemed to mimick a 60-year-old with arthritis. This gesture from Archer invoked laughter from his teammates as they mocked the youngster for his antics as he left the field. It does look like the pacer got cramped up, and after all, what's wrong in having a bit of light-hearted banter amidst all the chaos?
