India became the second team after Pakistan to win hundred T20 international matches after beating West Indies in the second match of the series. The victory also helped the hosts wrap up the series as they now look to go after another clean sweep against the visitors just like they did in the ODIs.

India became the second team after Pakistan to win hundred T20I games in international cricket. Rohit Sharma's team achieved this unique feat in the second match of the series against West Indies. Pakistan leads the record for the maximum wins in T20I games as they have registered 119 wins from 189 matches.

Interestingly, India won their hundredth game after playing just 155 matches. The win was not an easy one for India as West Indies played brilliantly as they came out to chase 187 after India to bat first. The visitors after losing a couple of wickets stepped up their game as Nicholas Pooran and Rovman Powell smashed the Indian bowlers all around the park. West Indies came tantalisingly close to a victory.

However, on the back of some great death bowling from Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Harshal Patel, India managed to defeat the visitors and clinch the series.

The third and final match of the series will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata once again. Both teams will be looking for a win but it feels like West Indies will be a bit more desperate as they haven't a single game in the entire series yet.

It will also be interesting to see if Rohit Sharma looks to make some changes in the side as an experiment in a dead rubber game.
