Is Sooryavanshi’s Batting Leaving Even Bhuvi and Jurel Without Answers?

‌Any youngster who is facing a world-class bowler for the first time would definitely be scared. But that is definitely not the case of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, as he has dominated them with ease. It also continued in the match between Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bengaluru. RCB batted first and posted 201 runs on the board. 

This was followed by the madness of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. RCB has a star studded bowling line-up with players such as Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Krunal Pandya, and Josh Hazlewood. But all of their efforts to defend the target went in vain, as it was Vaibhav Sooryavanshi who dominated the stage. He went on to score 78 runs off just 26 balls. 

With this game, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has also won the Orange Cap in the IPL. He now holds 200 runs in four games at an average of 50, at a strike rate of 266.66. 

The match between RR and RCB could have gone either way if Vaibhav Sooryavanshi wouldn't have dominated against the RCB bowlers. Even Bhuvneshwar Kumar reacted to his batting style, as he said, “Vaibhav Suryavanshi is too mature for a 15 year old. He’s not slogging, he’s playing proper shots. He deserves all the credit for the way he’s batting.”

Dhruv Jurel also reacted to Vaibhav's batting, as he said, “It feels unreal to watch Vaibhav Suryavanshi. We doubt ourselves that how can he hit so well on the same wicket we bat, he’s an incredible talent. We’re fortunate to have him in our team.”

Infact Dhruv Jurel stood constantly at the other end with Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. He also went on to score 81 runs off 43 balls for the team, but his knock was not at the same speed like that of Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi also welcomed Shardul Thakur with a six, as he has managed to score 26 runs off just 9 balls against him. In the recent encounter, Shardul was also able to take his wicket after conceding runs.

RCB's best bowler in this tournament, Josh Hazlewood made his return to the team. But it was not a good day for Josh to make his return, as he had to go against Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Fans expected Josh to get the upper hand in this battle, but he was eventually welcomed with a four against him. He went on to score 18 runs off just 4 balls against him with 3 fours and a six.
