The match between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings brought down a scary moment for the DC players and fans. In the first innings, their batters were able to score down the opponent bowlers to a great extent. But during the chase, one of the team fielders had made the heartbeats of the entire locker room high.

Lungi Ngidi made an attempt to take a catch while running backwards in the powerplay. While he was not able to take the catch, he fell down on his neck during this process. The other fielder who stood near Ngidi threw the ball to the bowler's end, and immediately noticed that Ngidi was not fine. The medics were called upon, and DC eventually brought in Vipraj Nigam as a concussion sub.
