Brazilian International Philippe Coutinho has not really impressed at Barcelona. He has struggled to adapt to the style of play at Barcelona, and his performances have been underwhelming with respect to the premium that Barcelona paid for him. He moved to Camp Nou in January 2018 for £142million.

Philippe Coutinho's below-par performances since his incredible move from Liverpool, have made Barcelona open to selling him. The La Liga champions are also willing to let him leave on loan if a permanent deal is not agreed upon. He does have suitors, with Bayern Munich and even Juventus looking to make the move before the transfer window slams shut.

The Bavarians are desperate to get hold of attacking midfielders or wingers, who can take the places of Robben and Ribery, who were so influential to the club’s success in the last few years. The club has closely followed Gareth Bale’s situation at Real Madrid, and was willing to make a for him as well but have now stepped out of that race as well.

The Bundesliga champions have failed to bring Leroy Sane to the Allianz Arena, as negotiations have hit a standstill. The German winger was injured badly in Sunday’s Community Shield match and looks set to stay at Manchester City, atleast for this summer. Juventus have also enquired about Coutinho, with Paulo Dybala set for a move away from the club this summer.  The Argentine has been linked with a move to PSG and England, although the English transfer window does shut today.

However, one thing that is clear is that it's very unlikely that the former Liverpool star will return to England. Ligue 1 giants, PSG were also linked to the Brazilian, but those rumours have now gone quiet, alongside Barcelona's move for Neymar. It is clear that the Blaugrana have asked Coutinho to look for a new club and are eager to offload him after spending heavily this summer.
