Amid a lot of transfer rumours during the summer, Paul Pogba ultimately stayed at Old Trafford to complete another Premier League campaign. Barcelona and Real Madrid were the favourites to land the French star but a move failed to materialize, as his valuation by Manchester United was set too high.

Paul Pogba has been largely criticised by the fans for his behaviour on and off the court and even his performances, during last season. It was known that the Frenchman's wish was to move abroad to Spain, to either represent Real Madrid or Barcelona and his brother thinks the move will happen sooner or later, according to Goal.

Mathias Pogba said in an interview, was asked if his brother kept contact with any Catalans or Los Blancos stars, "I know he’s spoken with a few players, but not Ramos. Who? Oh, Messi. Sometimes, not always. Zlatan and Griezmann, because of the national team. I don’t know about anyone from Real Madrid. Oh, Varane, yes, and yes, with Zidane, yes.”

However, he has no doubts that Pogba's quality can massively improve one of the big teams in Europe, "We like tiki-taka. Whenever I can, I watch their (Barcelona) games or go to the Camp Nou. When my brother leaves Manchester United, there are only three clubs he can go to improve: City, Real Madrid or Barca. He's not going to go to City, so he'll come to Spain: to Barca or Madrid."
