After winning their third game of the season, Haryana Steelers coach Rakesh Kumar has said that the win was because of their aggressive approach against Bengaluru Bulls raiders. He added that his team's composure when they were lagging behind, is the reason for their strong comeback.

Haryana Steelers were ones lagging behind by nine points after Bengaluru Bulls inflicted an all-out early in the game. Bengaluru Bulls were in control after the first all-out but they couldn’t sustain the lead for long. By the end of the first half, the lead remained only of a single point and Haryana had also inflicted an all-out onto the Bulls.

“I’m overjoyed that we beat the champions. We’ve won two in a row and that is mostly because of how well we’ve prepared and executed. We planned to play aggressive against their two star raiders and it worked. I’m satisfied with the team’s effort,” Rakesh Kumar said in the post-match press conference.

The heroes of the match for Haryana were Vikas Kandola and Vikas Kale. The former scored 11 raid points whereas the latter scored six tackle points. They both held the team together and executed Rakesh Kumar’s strategies to perfection. Kandola was well supported by Vinay who scored five raid points and Kale was supported by skipper Dharamraj Cherlathan who score three tackle points.

“We could have played better. We made a couple of mistakes. But I had specifically told my team not to lose composure if Bengaluru Bulls took an early lead. The way the team responded to the first All-Out was brilliant,” the Haryana coach concluded.
