Bengaluru Bulls' star performer Pawan Sehrawat has said that their team had a long time to plan meticulously to counter Tamil Thalaivas as they are a very experienced side. This was Bengaluru Bulls' fifth win of the season and now they are at the fourth place on the points table with 27 points.

Bengaluru Bulls did their coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat proud again with the way they played and won against Tamil Thalaivas 31-22. They took an early lead by inflicting an all-out even before the home team scored a touch or tackle point. Pawan Sehrawat went on for continuous raids and made this possible. So by the end of first half, Bengaluru were leading 17-10

“No. I don’t think that’s the case. The entire Tamil Thalaivas team is extremely talented and we had planned meticulously to counter them. We had a long time to plan for this game and the coach and captain were spot on with their strategy and leadership,” Pawan Sehrawat said when he was asked about Tamil Thalaivas’ tentativeness against him during the press conference.

There were moments that Tamil Thalaivas could have taken the lead when the Bulls were at the verge of an all-out and had only a two-point lead but Bunty, a substitute raider, went on the raid and managed to escape with two points and thus Bulls avoided the all-out and built on the lead. The highest scorer of the match was Pawan Sehrawat with 11 raid points and Saurabh Nandal picked up the defence slack and finished the match with five tackle points to his name. Though we didn’t see much from skipper Rohit Kumar or the other defenders as they hardly scored any points.

“He is a rookie and he has played well since his debut. Both my young Cover defenders managed to keep Ajay Thakur and Rahul Chaudhari quiet,” coach Ranhir Singh Sehrawat said on Nandal’s performance.
