Krishan Kumar Hooda has heaped praise on Dabang Delhi KC after his team won all their four games at home in the ongoing seventh edition of the Pro Kabaddi League. Skipper Joginder Narwal said that the achievement of the team is a tribute to the fans and each and everyone, who supports them.

Dabang Delhi became the only team in the ongoing season of PKL to win all their games at home. They managed to beat Patna Pirates in their last game by 38-35 and remained at the top of the points table as well. Apart from the three-time champions, Delhi also got the better of defending champions Bengaluru Bulls, U Mumba, and UP Yoddha in their home leg.

Coach Krishan Kumar Hooda has praised his players after the win on Friday and said that it was a team effort that helped the side emerge victorious in the home leg.

“I would like to congratulate the team first and foremost for achieving what no other team has been able to achieve in their home leg so far. I especially want to mention the contributions of our captain Joginder Narwal, our senior defender Ravinder Pahal and our two main raiders Naveen Kumar and Chandran Ranjit. The entire team is worthy of praise. Every member of our team has worked hard to be here. I also want to congratulate Naveen for becoming the top raider of this season. I don’t think there could be a happier occasion for me,” Hooda told reporters after the Friday game.

Speaking to the press after the win, skipper Joginder Narwal said, “I am very happy that the team won all our games at home. This is our tribute to our fans from Delhi and everyone who supports us. It is a matter of great joy for us. I hope the team continues to play well and keeps winning more matches. We will keep practising hard and stick to the plans our coach has made against the teams we are playing next.”

Naveen Kumar, on Friday, became the fastest raider to reach 300 raid points and also broke Pardeep Narwal’s successive eight Super 10 record in a single season. The Delhi youngster got to his ninth consecutive Super 10 this year and that too against Pardeep’s team on Friday. Coach Hooda stressed on the fact that records are made to be broken and congratulated Naveen for his achievement.

“Records are made to be broken. I am happy, though, that one of our players has broken the record. I had said this in many interviews earlier that our raiders - Naveen and Ranjit- are top raiders. I consider both to be the team’s main raiders and they have the potential to be among the top three raiders in the season.

“Today is Naveen’s day so I want to congratulate him. The way this young man is playing and seeing the gameplay he has displayed; I can say that he has the potential to be among the top raiders in the world,” the coach concluded.
