Dabang Delhi KC coach Krishan Kumar Hooda has given the credit of the win against Haryana Steelers entirely to the teamwork put up by his boys. He also praised the raiding department, comprising Naveen Kumar and Chandran Ranjit, for putting up a phenomenal performance last night.

Dabang Delhi had won two matches before this one and in both of them, they won with the point difference of one. Those were close intense matches in which Delhi managed to take an edge over their opponents. However, in the game against the Steelers, their win was more convincing. They showcased an all-round performance which helped them outshine the Steelers and coach Krishan Kumar Hooda spoke about the same at the post-match press conference.

“I am very happy with the win. This was our third victory on the trot. The credit for this victory goes entirely to teamwork. Our team is playing well and hopefully will keep performing in this manner. We have talented youngsters and an experienced captain like Joginder Narwal as well as Naveen Kumar, a star in the making. Chandran Ranjit, too, played very well today,” Krishan told reporters.

Dabang Delhi’s raiders were in top form as both the main raiders got a super 10. Chandran Ranjit scored 11 points and Naveen Kumar scored 10 points in the game last evening.

“Naveen Kumar has done it before this season but Ranjit is an outstanding raider as well. Between Naveen Kumar and Ranjit, it's hard to pick who is the best. Both are brilliant. I am very happy to be their coach,” Dabang Delhi’s coach said.

Talking about the coaching style of two former India greats Rakesh Kumar and Anup Kumar, the senior coach said, “Both Rakesh and Anup have been star players for India. They are still new to the coaching realm. They are still young and I hope they become great coaches in the future."
