Defending champions Patna Pirates defeated inaugural champions Jaipur Pink Panthers ​37-29 to win the title in the 4th season of the Pro Kabbadi League at Hyderabad on Sunday. Star raider Pardeep Narwal’s 16 points was the key for the side from Patna in the grand finale against the Jaipur side.

Last edition’s 3rd-place winners Puneri Paltan retained their 3rd spot in the 4th season of Pro Kabaddi League after defeating Telugu Titans 35-40 at the Gachibowli indoor stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday. In the match, Rahul Chaudhari also became the 1st player to score 500 points in the PKL.

Jaipur Pink Panthers put up a commanding display of offence and defence to defeat Telugu Titans 34-24 at their own home to reach the final of the Pro Kabaddi season 4. Leading by a point at half-time, Hyderabad suffered an extended meltdown early in the second half to lose the match.

Reigning champions and league leaders Patna Pirates defeated Dabang Delhi by a single point 32-31 to seal the top spot on the league table with a match left. Delhi, for whom it was a must-win match, were sorely disappointed as their play-off hopes were dealt a final blow by the smallest of margins.

Telugu Titans became the third team to enter the semi-finals on Sunday after they defeated second-placed Jaipur Pink Panthers 35-23 at the Thyagaraj Sports complex in Delhi. With the win, Telugu Titans also extended their unbeaten run to eight games in season 4 of the Pro Kabaddi League.

In the last leg of season 4 of the Pro Kabaddi League, home side Dabang Delhi thrashed Bengal Warriors 41-20 to keep their hopes of entering the play-offs alive. Raider Kashling Adake starred for the home side with 13 points to defeat a hapless Bengal Warriors side.

After a shock defeat against Bengal Warriors yesterday, former champions U Mumba suffered another defeat at home on Saturday as they went down 28-27 to Bengaluru Bulls.
