Watch: Trent Boult's spectacular effort saves four runs for Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR pacer Trent Boult has shown his athleticism by saving a certain boundary for KKR with his brilliant diving effort that left the spectators enthralled. Although Suresh Raina heaved a Piyush Chawla delivery that seemed to be going for a six but Boult had some other ideas in his head.
Despite being only three-day-old, the IPL 2017 season has already produced some moments of brilliance on the field. Ben Cutting's throw, Mayank Agarwal's catch were just some examples of the level of commitment and athleticism that the players have been showing. The match between Gujarat Lions and Kolkata Knight Rides produced one such moment that left the spectators in awe.
On the third delivery in the 13th over, Raina walked down the wicket and mishit a delivery from his statemate, Chawla. The ball seemed to be clearing Boult but the fast bowler jumped and caught the ball in the mid-air and threw it back in play before he came down outside the boundary.
The brilliant effort was cheered by the Gujarat crowd as well.
