WATCH | Chahal-Jadhav pull off Ashwin-Dhoni-esque stumping

MS Dhoni and R Ashwin have shown time and again how a spinner and a wicketkeeper can work in unison to bamboozle batsmen and send them packing. It appears K Jadhav and Y Chahal have been taking notes as they dismissed Y Pathan with a moment of brilliance that would make even Dhoni and Ashwin proud.

In the 3rd edition of IPL Dhoni and Ashwin combined their skills to dismiss David Hussey. Seven years down the line RCB duo Jadhav and Chahal produced a deja-vu of sorts when they sent Yusuf Pathan back to the dressing room.

Today, in the game against KKR, Yuzvendra Chahal was brought on to bowl in the 10th over to exact some more pressure on the home side who were struggling to find runs. Yusuf Pathan saw the move as an invitation to attack the leggie and on the second delivery he danced down the pitch to hit Chahal for a biggie. But little did he know that the RCB spinner had anticipated his move.

Chahal fired the delivery towards the leg-side, leaving Pathan stranded in the middle of nowhere and Kedar Jadhav who was behind the stumps was quick to collect the ball and dislodge the bails. It appeared as if the two RCB players had communicated telepathically to produce the wicket.
